Got ripped off by carshield, aka carscam

my transmission went out on my 2011 Acada I HAD CAR SHIELD INS THEY TAKE MONEY OUT OF MY CHECKING ACOUNT EVERY MONTH AND WON'T PAY ONE DIME ON MY CAR TO BE FIXED WE HAVE CALLED THEM AND SOME OF THEM TALK LIKE THEY WERE GOING TO HELP US AND WE SENT IN CLAIMS 3 TIMES STILL NO ONE HAS HELPED US OUR CAR HAS BEEN DOWN FOR A MONTH OUR GUY WE HAVE DOING REPAIRS ON OUR CAR HAS ALL SO CALLED THEM NO ONE WILL OFFER TO SEND A CHECK TO HELP US MY Huspand HAS CANCER THIS IS THE ONLY WAY WE HAVE TO GET TO THE DRS. SO MY DAUGHTER MOVED IN WITH US TO HELP US OUT THESE PEOPLE THEY NEED TO CLOSE THE DOORS ON THEM THEY PAY PEOPLE TO LIE FOR THEM ON TV. THEY KNOW THERE NOT GOING TO HELP WITH NO CAR REPAIR i will never have no dealings with them again.

Finally!! After a full 5 weeks, American Auto Shield came to the party and agreed to the full repair of my A/C AND as a sop, they agreed to waive my deductible - how magnanimous of them!Am now looking for a better, more efficient warranty company!One that repair...
Am now on the THIRD day, assessor has been, but "the system" is down!! Now I cannot get an update on when my vehicle will be authorized to be repaired!!!!
Maybe, tomorrow, the FOURTH day, something will happen??

Failure to pay claim
My AC condenser broke on my vehicle. I took it to an auto repair company and it was approved by Car Shield for the repair.
They even sent a new part. A few days after I picked up my car the repair shop called and said they had not received payment for the repairs. They had contacted Car Shield twice and were told the payment was being processed. After almost 2 weeks the repair shop called me and said they could not wait for payment any longer and charged me for the remaining costs minus the deductible.
I called Car Shield and was told they never received the invoice which was wrong because the repair shop had all the documentation showing it was transmitted to Car Shield. I then emailed a copy of the invoice to Car Shield with a read receipt requested which was acknowledged. After a few more weeks I called Car Shield again and the rep stated he was putting a rush on payment and that I should have the check in 10 business days. I have now emailed them twice, called 4 times and been on hold for over 45 minutes, requested a call back and no one responds.
If I were Chris Berman I would be very embarrassed representing a company that misleads their customers. Looking at filing a complaint with any and every organization I can find who handles these issues.

Company would not pay on covered claim
User's recommendation: Stinks! Consumer alert. Put your money in a savings account instead of purchasing extended warranty insurance. You will save time, money and headaces.s

This consumer is totally right as a several members of my church purchased this warranty from Car Shield and each one has had issue with Car Shield when it came to repairs. DO NOT PURCHASE its a total SCAM
